Assembly Point is a suite of online tools making the management of staff, and employment-related issues, easier. The service is easy to use, low cost, and requires no new hardware or software. The core functionality consists of the following.
Online time sheets allows employees to enter the hours they've worked on a weekly basis and have them approved by management. Hours can be allocated based on a simple clock-in clock-out manner or they can be allocated to specific projects. Reports can be generated in seconds showing where employee time is being spent.
Employees can check their accumulated holidays without bothering HR and apply for holidays online. Holiday applications are sent to managers for approval or rejection. Staff and management can easily see who's going to be on holiday across the company at any given time. Time Off is also used for recording sick days, maternity leave and other user-definable leave types. Holiday entitlements are updated automatically based on time worked versus annual allowances. National Holidays for many countries are already pre-configured.
Dashboard reports are one of the key components of AssemblyPoint. Reports provide a striking visual snapshot of work times, annual leave, and sick days but company, department or individual.
ever forget a key date again. AssemblyPoint sends automatic emails when holiday requests are made, or when timesheets need to be filled in. Reminders can be easily turned on or off for entire departments or individuals.
The company directory allows staff see accurate contact details of their fellow workers. Staff can also "self service" some of their own details.
